Less Annoying CRM is a contact manager for small teams
Less Annoying CRM is a web-based contact manager for small businesses. It keeps people and companies in one place, files notes and emails against each record, and reminds you when a follow-up is due, for $15 per user per month as read on 3 October 2026.
The company says it was started by two brothers in 2009, describes itself as family-owned and self-funded, lists a St. Louis, Missouri address, and says more than 10,000 small businesses use it. Those are the vendor's own statements. Our Less Annoying CRM review weighs them for volunteer teams.
What Less Annoying CRM does: contacts, tasks, calendar and pipelines
| Feature | What the vendor's pages say |
|---|---|
| Contacts and companies | One profile per person with notes, files, tasks and events, linked to a company record |
| Groups and custom fields | Unlimited groups and custom fields for sorting records your own way |
| Tasks and daily agenda | Tasks attach to contacts, and a morning email lists what is due that day |
| Calendar | Shared team calendars with two-way Google and Outlook sync |
| Email logging | Emails sent and received through Google, Microsoft or IMAP are saved to the matching contact |
| Pipelines | Customizable stages for any process, with pipeline reports |
| Form builder | Intake forms that create records and can trigger follow-up tasks |
| Reports and export | Activity, task and pipeline reports, plus spreadsheet export |
Access is through a browser. The vendor's pages differ on mobile: the pricing and tour pages say no downloads are needed, while a help center article lists iOS and Android apps that it calls a work in progress, with no offline mode.
How a record moves through it: a volunteer follow-up example
Here is the flow the documentation describes, applied to a volunteer inquiry at [your organization].
- A person fills in an intake form built with the form builder. A contact record is created.
- The contact is added to a group such as "New volunteer inquiries" so the list can be pulled up later.
- A pipeline item is attached with a status such as "Inquiry received", then moved to "Orientation booked" and "Active".
- A task is set on the contact: call within two days. It appears in the coordinator's morning agenda email.
- The coordinator's reply email is logged to the record if email logging is connected and the person is already a contact.
Stage names are yours to choose. Our record route guide suggests a lean setup.
What Less Annoying CRM is not
It is not donor management software. The vendor's nonprofit template tracks opportunities, committed donations and received donations as pipeline stages, but the feature pages list no online donation processing and no tax receipts or acknowledgment letters.
It is not volunteer management software either. Nothing in the product tour describes shift sign-up, check-in or an hours log. You could record hours in a custom field or a note, by hand.
It is also not an email marketing tool. The help center says the product does not send bulk email itself and points to its Mailchimp connection or an export to another tool. Larger teams should note the vendor's guidance to stay under 50,000 contacts and companies.
Price, trial and who Less Annoying CRM suits
There is one plan at $15 per user per month plus tax, a 30-day trial with no credit card, and no free tier or discounts. Details are on our Less Annoying CRM pricing page.
It suits a team of one to a few coordinators whose main problem is remembering who to call back and what was said last time. A nonprofit that must issue gift receipts should look at Little Green Light, which was $45 per month for up to 2,500 constituents with unlimited users on 3 October 2026. A program that needs shift scheduling and hours should start with POINT, which has a free plan, or the other tools on our volunteer management software page.
